Jamie & Nathan | Villa Terrace Wedding Photography

Jamie & Nathan’s wedding day wove its way from inspiring rooftop spot to gorgeous villa grounds and it was everything they could have ever wanted in one inspiring and seemingly magical day. They started at their condo and met on the rooftop overlooking the city they love, sharing private vows and an exquisite few moments with their beloved cat and dog. We could stop here and it would be pretty perfect, right? In fact, when Nathan was holding his cat and looking at his almost-wife pet their dog just moments after sharing their private vows he offered to just stay home and spend the rest of the day exactly as they were. It was already so good why keep going? And that, my friends, is the best illustration of true happiness I’ve ever witnessed. In truth, they were profoundly glad they decided to keep going, though because the rest was all so equally lovely it was not to be missed.

They gathered with their friends and family at the lakeside Villa that would play host to their wedding day and night, wandering among the green gardens and the formal courtyard & terrace. They exchanged rings with the lake as their background and shared a meal in the same place, utterly thankful for everything and everyone around them. And at the end of the night they watched the sky turn shades of orange and purple as they circled up with friends and sparklers to celebrate just a little bit more. It was, in a word, perfection.

Erin & Dan | Milwaukee Art Museum Summer Wedding

Dan was meant to be a groom. Throughout his wedding day his one liners about marrying Erin and joining her family with his were marked with a little laughter but mostly by a whole lotta heart. He was so quotable we have quotes! Among our favorites:

I’ve been waiting to marry Erin for a very long time!   This thing is forever (said at the end of his vows.) The only things better than having 4 sisters is having 8 sisters.

And equally remarkable was Erin, truly luminescent all day with her heart on her sleeve, pouring her emotions into each moment of the day and her full attention onto Dan. Together they hosted a powerhouse of joy kind of day. Their huge bridal party was a testament to their soulful, generous lives and every single guest in attendance was thrilled to be exactly where they were on Erin & Dan’s June wedding day. So get ready to witness love & marriage the way it should be: fun & flirty, full of life, utterly joyful in every way.
