I keep starting and restarting this blog post because I can’t decide what I want to talk about first: the incredible light & gorgeous summer night Milwaukee offered to Marnee & Brett for their engagement session or the incredible light & gorgeous personalities Marnee & Brett offer up to the world around them. Both are true and made for a seriously fun time getting to know the two of them as we skipped about town from green spots to river views, the two of them hand in hand happy to tell their how we met and how we fell in love stories. And Bonus: Marnee realized she loved a good twirl and Brett obliged, clearly on board for whatever makes Marnee happy. They’ll the knot next year but for now they are content to wander by the river and dance in the street, enjoying each other and the city they love.

Katie & Brennan are two sides of the same coin. She’s a bit more plan-focused and list oriented while Brennan has a free flowing yet deliberate way of moving through the world. Together they form a magnetic and dynamic pair that has truly shaped one another into the best version of themselves. Before officially and publicly exchanging vows & rings in the impressive Imperial Ballroom of the Pfister Hotel they shared a quiet, heartfelt first look and private vows. With acknowledgements of the past and nods to the future they promised each other many things, not the least of which may have concerned their roles as pup parents to the cutest wedding dog we ever did photograph: Willie. From there they held hands and calmed each other, constantly centering and grounding one another through the cheers and tears of a wedding well-celebrated. It was sweet and inspiring to behold, just like them. Cheers!
