Nicole & Reid | St James 1868 Wedding and Reception

Nicole & Reid’s wedding day had a little bit of all my favorite things: Touches of blue, a bit of puppy time, a late night cocktail, a classic car, sports rivalries, a crowd that was there to dance, gorgeous and historic architecture, and oh yes, two people madly in love. Reid isn’t afraid to show his emotions (that also makes the list of my favorite things) and it was so meaningful to watch him watch Nicole and to literally be able to see the emotions cross his face. Nicole is flirty and fun and definitely felt the love from Reid on this day spent wholly on the grounds of St James 1868. Their puppy Benji even joined them there and the little bit of silliness his floppy ears and lolling tongue brought to the day was the cherry on top of a Classic wedding sundae. I think you can feel the sunshine in these photos and I know you can feel the joy, so scroll on through and see if you too can bask in the all the happiness the wedding of Nicole & Reid brought to their friends and families.

Namrata & Deep | Milwaukee Art Museum Indian Wedding Reception

Namrata & Deep are city people who love travel and when they decided to host their wedding in Nami’s home state they decided pretty quickly that showing off Milwaukee was one of their goals, a way to write a little love note the city while writing the next chapter in their own bigger love story. After kicking the weekend off at the Deer District, hosting a boat ride barat and tying the knot at Discovery World on the lakefront there was really only one other place in town they could imagine celebrating with guests: The Milwaukee Art Museum. With it’s Calatrava-designed Windhover Hall as part of their plans all that was left for them was to daydream about perfect weather for cocktails on the terrace and for time to sloooooow down so they could savor every second of their incredible reception. There were surprise dances and tearful toasts and even a wandering  magician stunning guests with his talents. But even still, the main attraction was always the two souls at the center of it all wrapped up in soul sustaining love.
