Sarah & Brian | Discovery World Summer Wedding

Sarah & Brian’s June wedding day comes to mind as a day that unfolded so sweetly and beautifully that I almost feel calmer when I think about it. The light was magic, rippling over Milwaukee’s architecture, making shapes and showing off the incredible dress Sarah chose for the day. The vibe was loving, a sort of knowing that this was always going to be the way Sarah & Brian got married – intentionally & authentically. Everything about the design of the day was delicate and romantic and we loved how much those assembled to celebrate Sarah & Brian allowed their joy to bubble to the surface. The day was playful, too, with soul food faves like mac & cheese and chicken & waffles for the cocktail hour plus a short & sparkly dress to cap off the night. As we come to the end of our Summer weddings this August you can most likely find me here, steeping in the perfection of this summer Saturday for Sarah & Brian ~

Racel & Clayton | Whistling Straits Irish Barn Wedding

Never have we ever seen a smile as genuine and as delightful as Racel’s on her wedding day to Clayton. His was a close second, though, as his eyes found her throughout the day he would transform from a guy enjoying himself to a husband profoundly happy to be anywhere she was. Together they experienced their wedding day & night in exactly the right ways – with open hearts and palpable joy at the fact that it had *finally* all come together. It was beautiful and sweet and humbling to be in their bubble of goodness for just one weekend. Newborn Eva At Home | Shorewood Natural Light Newborn Photography

Eva’s family is new to my neighborhood. They come ready to explore and learn about their new village, meet new people and for the two boys: ready to scooter their way around town. The family is renovating their new (historic) home so Eva’s room is a bright and clean space just perfect for cuddles and bouts of play. And in that home, Eva is a snuggly little thing destined to help balance out the male energy in her family of five, a little compatriot for her sweet mama. I love meeting new families and starting a photographic journey with them so fingers crossed this is just the first of many times having Eva and her fam in front of my lens. Thanks Eva for creating a reason to meet my neighbors!
