If you know Julie & Stew you will not be surprised to hear me describe their wedding as a Very Milwaukee Wedding. Perfectly so, in fact. They adore our city and the life they’ve built in it’s lovely neighborhoods. They love strolls on Brady Street and the promise of closing Wolski’s. A hand muddled Old Fashioned is always a good idea and did you even get married in Milwaukee without Simma’s on your cake table? To start the day Father Tim was their priest at St Hedwig’s and to end the night they hosted their reception at the singular Milwaukee gem that is the Wisconsin Club. From the beloved cream city brick church to the cupcake architecture & iconic barrel vault of the Club, the places they chose for their wedding weekend were all classic Milwaukee spaces that have been here for a century and promise to be here for another one. So grab a cocktail and a someone you love; this one is a nice one to savor with family & friends ~ Cheers to Julie & Stew!
