Megan & Patrick are gentle, sweet individuals who are true naturals in front of the camera. Patrick would protest the last part of that statement but these images by Ellen for Heather Cook Elliott Photography attest to the accuracy of my words. I met Megan & Patrick through Kristie & Joe (he’s one of Kristie’s 3 brothers) and remember Patrick from the wedding as a classic Matola family kind of guy: he’ll joke and razz and push buttons if you let him, but in the end he’s all about family and friends and fun, a sweetheart of a guy to his very core. Megan absolutely shines when she walks in the room, but even more so when in the presence of him. She makes him laugh and vice versa; together they make a confident, fun-loving couple at home anywhere, even the snowy streets of Cedarburg on a totally frigid winter afternoon.
Megan & Patrick’s gorgeous pup Knox braved the snow for a few shots towards the end of their shoot. I love Knox’s perpetually regal poses and complete symmetry.
Megan & Patrick and Knox fit together perfectly – I know we are all looking forward to the big day when they (officially) become a family.
