Laura & Tom | Chicago Photographer at Lincoln Square

I met Laura & Tom at their apartment in Chicago’s Lincoln Square neighborhood. Greeted by their big, fluffy puppy and challenged to find their cat, I enjoyed fresh bread baked by Laura and got to know them a bit better before stepping out into the crisp fall air. Laura just embarked on a new job adventure where she is something of a Jack (Jill) of all trades at a startup and Tom is an actor. Although they met at Northwestern and live in Chicago next summer they’ll be tying the knot in Milwaukee. Laura is originally from a suburb north of the city and a family member will be marrying them at one of Milwaukee’s favorite grand churches – Gesu’ – but for now it’s all about Chicago. Laura & Tom love their neighborhood and their life there so they took me on a walking tour past the weekday farmer’s market, to a favorite coffee and pastry shop and  along the El in search of perfect light.
