Florence Ann is a lucky baby girl. She’s very recently born into an enviable family of (men and) women that I have come to love photographing as they add more and more to their sweet ranks. Florence is the sister of Louise, the cousin of Arden, Merritt, Nora and Fiona and the niece of Michele and Drew, and of course, the daughter of Amy & Tony. As you can tell by the plethora of links I’ve spent a few days with this family! This day spent getting to know their newest member was pure pleasure as I played and danced with Louise and watched her cautiously love on Florence. Their dog Paisley showed off by waiting patiently for pets and always being game for big hugs from Louise. Paisley’s favorite place is in Louise’s room and since Florence’s room is slowly coming together we spent most of our time in Louise’s sunshine and toy filled space. Towards the end of the shoot we simply had to venture outside and Louise led us all down to the lake. There Florence snuggled with her mama and the rest of us just kind of observed, simply happy and a little awestruck to get to be around such wonderful little girls.
