Louisville Engagement at Locust Grove | Shannon & Jack

Shannon & Jack are a little bit city & country, a little bit heels & loafers, a little bit science & nature. And along with their adorable pup Hatter they are also adventurous enough to try living in a new city…just because. I met them in their chosen part of the world, Louisville, to capture them amidst the city’s best assets – its laid back charm, southern sunshine and the small big city vibe that they love so much. They are still exploring Louisville themselves, but together we crafted a route through the city that would feel outdoorsey and green for Jack and just urban enough for Shannon, which is why I think their choice for a wedding venue in their home state is just perfect. This coming winter they will tie the knot at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center just north of Milwaukee and I can’t wait to be there for them to capture all of the wintery goodness Wisconsin has to offer. But for now it its all dogwoods and river views, historic homes and green trees.
