Ali & Hersh | Milwaukee Lakefront Destination Engagement

We throw the phrase meant to be around a lot in the weddings world, but every once in awhile we meet a couple and that sentence is the only fitting one around. Alexandra (Ali) & Hersh met in Dallas, Texas and share a collegiate love for Madison, Wisconsin but grew up a continent or three apart from one another. Today they live in India and they’ll celebrate both there and here in Milwaukee, a city they know very little about but are coming to love little by little. But its their journey together as friends and as a couple that keeps bringing that phrase back to mind because their journey to being married is just so meandering, so hard to have predicted, and really so close to moments that start with if I hadn’t decided to go…to ignore the idea that maybe just maybe these two are meant to be. On a gorgeous spring morning while in town for some whirlwind wedding planning, Ali & Hersh brought all of that to light for us as they rather effortlessly held hands and enjoyed time together in front of the camera. Their vibe is one of quiet confidence paired with fierce love and its easy to imagine them fulfilling that meant to be idea ever more with each passing day as adventurers and confidants, entrepreneurs and doers, travelers, loves and best friends.
