Jaimie & Kyle were married on THE most beautiful day any proud midwesterner would call ideal. Neither is from Kohler, Wisconsin, but that town and it’s idyllic (and iconic) golf course have now officially become one of their favorite places in all the world. They dressed in rustic surrounds at the Championship Locker Room, able to peek out and see decor progress on their sail cloth tent but also to spy the shores of Lake Michigan in the distance. He arrived at the all-white, modern classic Chapel first and all the sweet little people in their life lined up to precede Jaimie down the aisle. When the doors opened and Kyle saw Jaimie for the first time I am pretty sure there was an audible sigh coming from every pew. From there they stuck close to one another all evening, enjoying the sweetest toasts, the warmest family hugs, the best friendship, and even the company of two bald eagles nesting on the course just across the 18th green of Whistling Straits. It was a dreamy day for a dream couple and I just can’t wait for everyone to join me in swooning just a little over their gorgeous images.

Natalie & Matthew | Discovery World Lakeside Pavilion Wedding

Natalie & Matt are among the kindest and happiest souls we’ve ever met. Natalie is bubbly, maybe even better described as effervescent, and Matt totally revels in her outgoing spread-the-love kind of joy. Together they are playful and adorable, two people that anyone would want to know but that I feel honored to have photographed. Their story starts in college where they met through their roommates and winds though Madison & grad school, Milwaukee & careers and not too long ago their future chapter opened wide with Matt’s marriage proposal on the lawn of the Milwaukee Art Museum. For them celebrating their wedding at neighboring Discovery World checked all the things-we-love boxes: the views, the light, the lake, the city. And on their actual celebration day it was as if each of those things was sentient and wanted to celebrate with Natalie & Matt, too. So as we turn to fall and cooler days ahead, you’ll find us over here solidly in summer on a perfect day with N & M:

Leigh & Aaron | Bradley Symphony Center Wedding

Leigh & Aaron are quite possibly the two kindest people on the planet. They are warm and cheerful, two souls who brighten rooms without trying. So imagine a wedding day where they have traveled from where they live out of state to host their celebration in a city that is, for them, all about good memories, friendship and family. With ties to Packer fandom and Marquette University and a good dose of southern (Texas) charm, they hosted and enjoyed a destination wedding in Milwaukee on a gorgeous summer day. The new Bradley Symphony Center was the light filled scene of their nuptials and reception, but before that they floated through the city on a day where it really did seem like Milwaukee wanted to show off for them. From blue skies to cold beer, east side to downtown, lake views to city lights, their wedding had it all. And it couldn’t have been for a better couple.
